New species arrives at Shalom, Zebu Cattle. The Zebu is the oldest sopecies of bovine in the world. Thought to be the first domesticated cattle going back to 8000 b.c. The whiter of the two is the female and her name is Jambu, the males name is Hodu. Native to Africa and Asia. They weigh about 600 pounds and are 4 years old. Ravi, our zebu calf, has been bottle fed since birth due to lack of milk production from his mother. He is in the process of being weaned, so he is now receiving one bottle of formula in the morning. He currently spends the rest of his day grazing, eating hay, and has just recently shown interest in grain.
