One person was killed and another was hospitalized after a mid-air collision during a skydiving incident in eastern Washington on Sunday evening.
One person was killed and another injured after a mid-air collision while skydiving about three miles north of Ritzville Sunday, according to a release from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
One skydiver was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital for treatment, the outlet reports. The Adams County Sheriff's Office said the body was later released to the Adams County Coroner's Office as the investigation moved from rescue to recovery.
One person died and a second was critically injured in Thursday, May 28, Riverside County authorities said. Firefighters were called to the 600 block of E. Ellis Avenue just before 2 p.m., the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said.
